We love seeing our team members build long term careers here at Thermwood. Today we are proud to share two exciting promotions that go hand in hand.

Thermwood Promotes Jacob Zellers to Account Manager

Jacob Zellers has been promoted to Account Manager within our Machining Products Division. For the last three years, Jacob did a fantastic job serving as our Trade Show Coordinator.

In his new role, he will oversee sales and dealer relationships across half the United States. Jacob brings a practical understanding of our products to this position, having started his career with us in the Electrical Department.

Outside of work, Jacob resides in Tell City with his wife Brooke and their two daughters.

Thermwood Promotes Chase Frye to Trade Show Coordinator

With Jacob moving into sales, Chase Frye is stepping up to fill his shoes as our new Trade Show Coordinator in the Marketing Department. Chase will take over the execution and logistics for all of our trade show events and exhibitions.

Like Jacob, Chase brings a valuable hands-on perspective to his new role, having started his Thermwood career in the Paint Department. We also want to recognize Chase for his dedication to the community, where he serves as a volunteer firefighter for Anderson Township and a reserve police officer in Cannelton.

It is always a proud moment for us to promote from within, especially when it involves two individuals who work so hard for our company and our customers. Please join us in congratulating Jacob and Chase on their new roles!

Thermwood LSAM Additive Printer 510 LIVE Printing at JEC World 2026

Thermwood will demonstrate the capabilities of its LSAM technology by live-printing a matched pair of drone molds from advanced carbon-fiber reinforced polycarbonate each day of the event. This will all happen in the LIVE Demo Area located in Hall 6 at JEC World 2026 in Paris, France on March 10th-12th. The molds will be printed on the LSAM AP510 Additive Printer using advanced carbon fiber reinforced materials, with a different material supplier featured each day (Airtech, Sabic and Techmer PM). We will also have completed drone bodies on display, produced from the molds by our partner, the Aria Group.

🎓 Congratulations to the 2025 Thermwood Scholarship Recipients! 🎓

Thermwood Corporation is proud to award $2,000 Renewal Scholarships to 12 outstanding seniors from the Class of 2025. These students have demonstrated exceptional dedication to academics, athletics, leadership, and their communities. We are proud to support their next chapter!

Anna Deorto – Daughter of Christina Balbach and David Deorto, and a graduate of Heritage Hills High School.

Anna was active in Cross Country, Swim, and Track, as well as Pep Club, Young Women Lead, and True Life Baptist Church, and served as a coach for Girls on the Run.

She will attend Vincennes University on an Athletic Scholarship to pursue a degree in Education.

Thermwood Announces Executive Leadership Promotions

Thermwood is pleased to announce the promotion of two key executives as part of its continued focus on innovation, growth, and long-term leadership development.

Jason Susnjara has been promoted to President of Thermwood Corporation

Jason succeeds David Hildenbrand, who recently retired after 47 years of distinguished service. With more than 30 years at Thermwood, Mr. Susnjara has held a wide range of leadership roles across multiple departments, gaining a comprehensive understanding of the company’s operations.

Since 2019, he has served as Executive Vice President, where he played a key role in guiding Thermwood’s strategic direction and growth. He also serves on the company’s Board of Directors.

Jennifer Watt has been promoted to Executive Vice President of Thermwood Corporation

Since 2019, Ms. Watt has served as the company’s Chief Legal Officer, where she has led Thermwood’s legal and corporate governance efforts with distinction.

She holds a Juris Doctor from Chicago-Kent College of Law and a Bachelor of Science in Business from the Indiana University Kelley School of Business. Ms. Watt is a licensed attorney in both Indiana and Illinois and serves on Thermwood’s Board of Directors.

These leadership promotions reflect Thermwood’s strong commitment to continuity, innovation, and excellence as it continues to serve industries including woodworking, aerospace, automotive, defense, and advanced manufacturing.
