Thermwood 2023 Scholarship Recipients

Thermwood is proud to announce that we will be awarding six scholarships to dependents of associates for the Class of 2023. Each recipient will receive a $2,000 renewable scholarship. 

Since the introduction of these renewable scholarships, Thermwood has awarded over $200,000 to students wishing to further their education. 


Allison Hoffman

Allison Hoffman is the daughter of Jeremy and Lee Ann Hoffman of Mariah Hill, IN. She is a graduate of Heritage Hills High School.

She plans to major in Nursing (Registered Nurse) at Indiana State University in the fall.

 

 

 

 

 


Lindsay McDaniel

Lyndsay McDaniel is the daughter of Jason and Tammy McDaniel of Lynnville, IN.  She is a graduate of Tecumseh High School.  

She plans to major in Dental Hygiene at Indiana University in the fall.

 

 

 

 

 


Brenton RumpleBrenton Rumple is the son of Joseph and Megan Rumple of Ferdinand, IN.  He is a graduate of Forest Park High School.  

He plans to major in Welding Certifications at Ivy Tech Community College.

 

 

 

 

 



Brayton RumpleBrayton Rumple is also the son of Joseph and Megan Rumple of Ferdinand, IN.  He is a graduate of Forest Park High School.

He plans to major in Computer Science at Indiana University this fall.

 

 

 

 

 

 



OliviaSusnjara-1Olivia Susnjara is the daughter of April and Jason Susnjara of Santa Claus, IN.  She is a graduate of Heritage Hills High School.  

She plans to attend Purdue University this fall to pursue a degree in Speech, Language and Hearing Sciences.

 

 

 

 

 



Sylvia WrightSylvia Wright is the daughter of Dana and Gordon Wright of Taswell, IN.  She is a graduate of Crawford County High School.  

Sylvia is pursuing an Electrical Apprenticeship with the Prosser Career Center/ABC.

 

 

 

 

 


Career Advancement Partnerships

Additionally, for the 2023 year, Thermwood has announced two Career Advancement Partnerships with local Seniors. In return for scholarship assistance with their educational expenses they will have a career within Thermwood Corporation.



Logan LehmkuhlerLogan Lehmkuhler, a senior at Forest Park High School has entered into a Career Advancement Partnership with Thermwood Corporation to join our Field Service Department. 

 

 

 

 

 

 



Dayton CampbellDayton Campell, a senior at Heritage Hills High School has entered into a Career Advancement Partnership with Thermwood Corporation to join our Field Service Department.

Olivia Lopez

Olivia Lopez is the daughter of Daniel and Tena Lopez of Holland, IN.  She is a graduate of Southridge High School.

She has been a member of the National Honor Society, Business Professionals of America, Freshman Mentor Program, Christian Motorcyclists Association, and tennis team. She is also passionate about creative writing.

Olivia plans to major in Forensic Science at Maryville University in the fall.  

 

 


Emma Haefling

Emma Haefling is the daughter of Paul and Ellen Haefling of Santa Claus, IN.  She is a graduate of Heritage Hills High School.

During high school Emma was part of the Beta Club, Student Council, HH Riley’s Dance Marathon, and Volleyball team. She has been awarded the Top 10% of Class, the Captains & Patriot award for Volleyball, Science Fair awards, and Behavioral Science for 2022 Science Bowl.

She plans to major in Biology (Genetics) at Ball State University this fall.


Andrew MeeceAndrew Meece is the son of Natalie and Jeff Meece of Huntingburg, IN. He is a graduate of Southridge High School.

He has been a member of the Raider Band and Choir during high school. He is also an active member of the Zoar Methodist Church.

Andrew plans to attend Asbury University to major in Biblical Theology.

 

 

 

 



Emma TretterEmma Tretter is the daughter of Daniel and Jennifer Vonderheide of Jasper, IN. She is a graduate of Northeast Dubois Jr/Sr High School.

She plans to major in Design Technology at Ivy Tech Community College Evansville in the fall.

Leah O'Brien

Leah O'Brien is the daughter of Jennifer and Chris O'Brien of Stendal, IN.  She is a graduate of Southridge High School. 

She has been involved in FCA, Natural Helpers, SHS Choir, Yearbook and St. Mary's Youth group.  She was also a member of the Swim, Cross Country and Track teams. 

Leah plans to attend Ivy Tech Community College in the fall to study Visual Communications.

 

 

Aiden Susnjara

Aiden Susnjara is the son of April and Jason Susnjara of Santa Claus, IN.  He is a Summa Cum Laude graduate of Heritage Hills High School. 

He has been a member of Beta Club as well as the Basketball, Tennis and Golf teams.  Aiden has also been involved with Riley's Dance Marathon.  

Aiden plans to attend Purdue University in the fall to study Engineering. 

 

 



Kylee VaalKylee Vaal is the daughter of Courtney and Scott Vaal of Jasper, IN.    She is a graduate of Jasper High School. 

She has been involved in FCA, Octagon Club and SADD.  She is also a volunteer for the Redemption Church Kids Ministry.  Kylee was also part of the Soccer, Basketball and Unified Track teams.  

Kylee plans to attend the University of Southern Indiana to study Biology.

Cody-1

Cody Frakes is the son of Dawn Tullis of Santa Claus, IN and Jonathan Frakes.  He is a graduate of Heritage Hills High School. 

He has been a member of Beta Club, Rock/Paper/Scissors Club, Yearbook Staff and Fellowship of Christian Athletes (FCA).  Cody was a member of the 2019 State Finalist Team and also received Academic All-State for Football. 

He plans to study at Indiana University in the fall.

 

 

 

 

HannahSchnuck-1Hannah Schnuck is the daughter of Greg and Janie Schnuck of Santa Claus, IN.  She is a graduate of Heritage Hills High School. 

She has been involved in Beta Club, Student Council and Pep Club.  Hannah participated in Feed My Starving Children and coached 7th grade volleyball.  She was part of the Patriot Volleyball team and received Volleyball All-Conference PAC 2018/2019 and Volleyball All-State 1st Team 2019. 

Hannah plans to attend Indiana University to study Business Management. 



Jordan Yates-1Jordan Yates is the daughter of Seth and Angie Yates of Lynnville, IN.  She is a graduate of Tecumseh High School. 

She has been involved in Drama Club, Art Club, Tribe and President of National Honor Society.  Jordan was a member of the Varsity Swim and Golf team.  She also was a member of the THS Dinner Theatre and the THS production of “The Little Mermaid”.  She is the recipient of the Rising Star of Indiana award, Top Ten and ETFCU $5,000 Ted Hitch Scholarship for the 2020-2021 school year. 

Jordan plans to attend University of Louisville for Biochemistry.

HaleyMcDaniel-1Haley McDaniel is the daughter of Jason and Tammy McDaniel of Lynnville, IN.  She is a graduate of Tecumseh High School. 

She has been involved in the Drama Department, Art Club, Academic Team, Marching Band, Drum Major, Pep Band and Concert Band. 

Haley plans to continue her education at Ivy Tech Community College.

 

 

 

AddisonFella-1Addison Fella is the daughter of Audrie and Michael Leisman of Tell City, IN.  She is a graduate of Tell City High School. 

She was president of the Pep Club, a member of the Spanish and Advocate Club.  Addison participated on the high school Volleyball and Basketball teams.  She was also involved on traveling Volleyball and Softball teams.  She also received All Conference PAC for Volleyball.  

Addison will continue her education and Volleyball career at IU South Bend this fall, and pursue a degree in Exercise Science.

 

 

IanTreat-1Ian Treat is the son of Ryan and Alison Treat of Ferdinand, IN.  He is a graduate of Forest Park High School. 

Ryan was a member of SADD, Builders Club and Baseball Club K-8.  He also participated in High School Baseball and Football. 

Ian plans to attend Ivy Tech Community College to join the Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning Program.

Thermwood is proud to announce Audrey Jones and Mackenzie Tullis as our scholarship recipients for the Class of 2019.  Each will receive a $2,000 renewable scholarship.  Since the introduction of these renewable scholarships, Thermwood has awarded over $200,000 to students wishing to further their education. 

Audrey Jones

Audrey Jones is the daughter of Amie and Carl Jones of Ferdinand, IN.  She is a graduate of Forest Park High School. She has been involved in Community Impact, Student Council 9th and 10th grade, Key Club, 4H, and Golf. 

While at Forest Park she has received most improved Sophomore in Band, State Runner Up in Band, and MVP in Golf for 2 years. 

This fall Audrey will be attending IUPUI to study Clinical Lab Science.

Mackenzie TullisMackenzie Tullis is the daughter of Mark and Melanie Tullis of Lincoln City, IN. She is a graduate of Heritage Hills High School.  She has been a member of Patriot Vibe. 

Mackenzie will be studying Dental Hygiene at the University of Southern Indiana.

Thermwood 2018 Scholarship Recipients

Thermwood is proud to announce Colton O'Brien and Carson Vaal as our scholarship recipients for the Class of 2018.  Each will receive a $2,000 renewable scholarship.  Since the introduction of these renewable scholarships, Thermwood has awarded over $200,000 to students wishing to further their education. 

Colton O'Brien

Colton O'Brien is the son of Chris and Jennifer O’Brien of Stendal, and is a graduate of Southridge High School.

While at Southridge, Colton was a member of the football and track and field teams. He also participated in the Bass fishing club, FCA, Spirit Club and Outdoors Club.

He was a part of the 2017 State Champion football team, as well as the 2015 State Bass Fishing team.

Colton will be attending Ivy Tech this fall for HVAC and Electrical.

 

 

Carson VaalCarson Vaal is the son of Courtney and Scott Vaal of Jasper, and is a graduate of Jasper High School.

He has been active with Robotics, Marching Band, Symphonic Band and Boy Scouts.

He is an Eagle Scout and a State Gold Ranking Saxophone Soloist.

This fall, Carson with be attending Ball State University to study Architecture
